Artastic January 2018 challenge

Hi, Here is my design team layout for this month’s challenge. I love Arthur Streeton’s Beach Scene and have used a photo taken while my family and I holidayed at Agnes Water in December 2017. I love the the way the artist has created depth and movement in the ocean waves and this inspired my mixed media background. I have used colour blast shimmer dust , gesso and texture paste and a Kaisercraft stamp.
This is a really fun challenge and I hope you are inspired to give it a go.

Merry & Bright

Hi, I am combining 2 challenges with this layout – the gorgeous moodboard from Jot Magazine and the sketch /word challenge from Scrap Our Stash. I have chosen traditional Christmas colours plus some brown and teal for this layout to frame the photo of 3 of my grandchildren in their Christmas shirts. Thanks for the inspiration.

Happy New Year.

I have used the RED GREEN WHITE BLACK & GREY (the silver has  reflected a little yellowish) Scheme, scallops, Christmas and a tree from the evidence and have documented Christmas from the testimony – another fun case!

Kraft Plus December moodboard

Thanks for another great challenge. The moodboard reminded me of family getting together and I have chosen a photo of my grandchildren playing with their grandpa in the backyard – they call it “surfing” but there’s no water involved, only lots of fun.

I have used circles and frames from the moodboard and the colours of aqua and pink mainly. The patterned paper reminded me of the textured mat too.

Thank you for a fabulous year of great challenges and wonderful design team inspiration. Have a very happy Christmas and New Year.
