unstampabelles #77

This month the challenge at Unstampabelles is

#77: Decorate Something Wooden

I used some chalk paint on an old pine frame that I picked up at the recycling depot. Then I proceeded to rub a lot of it off to give an aged effect for the childhood photos of my brother and me. I used corrugated cardboard to back the photos and painted the word memories in white before spraying – this was a fun challenge and something different for me. Thank you for the inspiration.

Heart these kids

Hi, I am combining 2 challenges with this layout- the fun “Golden Globe” challenge from scrap our stash which requires a happy or lucky themed layout and the use of emojis and..    from Scrapbookit, the prompt is to use shapes, include reference to the shape in the title and to use a new product or technique.

I have used triangles, rectangles in the texture paste background, circles in the yellow paper ,emojis and heart button, and hearts for the love emoji  eyes and hand cross stitched button. The new products used are Paynes grey acrylic paint and the cocoa vanilla paper from the Bohemian Dream collection used in the blue and white triangles.

I have used photos of my grandchildren having such a fun time riding their boogie boards – happy to be together and lucky to have the waves  just the right size for them to have fun.

Thanks for the inspiration and to the design teams for their fabulous projects.
