Scrap the Girls November

I am so honoured to be guest designer for STG this month . The saying “Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world” really struck a chord for me. My daughter in law has just hung up her basketball boots after a wonderful career taking her all around the world.

I have used Paris  Colourblast shimmer dust in the background before stamping and stencilling with gesso . The film strip chippies are from 2 Crafty.

Celebrate – October challenges

hi, I am combining the Scrappy Friends and Rochelle’s rewind challenges with the Oct 15 CSI challenge with this layout. Thanks for your inspiration.

I have used hearts, texture paste (used with acrylic paint over a stencil) and flowers from the Evidence clues, documented a birthday celebration in the testimony and used the colour palette of pale pink (watercolour wash within the stitched rectangle) ,pale turquoise ( heart under the flowers),   scarlet(flowers) . black(stitching, title, heart, photo mount and filmstrip)and white(flower, doily and background card)DSC02348

My 1 word title – celebrate fits in with the Scrappy Friends challenge

And the sketch from Rochelle Spears Rewind challenge. I have used machine stitched rectangles painted with a watercolour wash and then roughly stencilled with pink texture paste.

Thanks for looking x
