CSI#256 – June challenge

The June 15 challenge over at CSI had me thinking of camping / travelling. I have used the traditional cues to solve the case using dots, stripes circles twine and tags from the evidence, the inspiration word “adventure” in my journaling and the colour pallette from the scheme.

Hello Beautiful.

Good morning.

Today I would like to share a layout I have done combining the cute mood board from CSI #255 and the Scrap our Stash blend a sketch challenge. Thanks to both teams for their fabulous inspiration.

I have used a series of photos of my granddaughter “helping” with some baking . I was inspired by the food theme in the mood board from CSI and by the colours. I have used stars, hearts and dots from the evidence clues too. The journaling references food from the testimony.

Wild & Free

Hi, I love this photo of my DH taken many years ago. He has always had a great love of the sea and is always so happy on the water. He has passed this love of the ocean on to our sons too.

I am combining a few challenges with this layout.

The posture of the man in the moon reminded me of the posture of my husband in this photo ( even though he’s not in a chair!!) The sombre colours also influenced my colour choice. I have used a silver star flair from Creative Embellishments and also a sun rub on as my celestial items

Birthday card

Hi, the challenge #80 over at Unstampabelles was to use flowers with the added twist of including bling -I love to fussy cut and the paper I chose had some pretty pink flowers and leaves. I have used black bling in the flower centre and as a cluster.

I used the sketch from Sketch-n-scrap to complete my card.

White with 1 June challenge

I love black and white and this month the challenge over at White with 1 is to use Space Frontier with white. There is also an awesome sketch!!

Here is my take. I have included some very cute resin figures from the Resin Rainbow in my embellishment cluster and lots of stash busting scraps of patterned paper!
